Recreation & Athletic Center, Long Island University

The Wellness, Recreatin and Athletic Center packs a big 120,000 sf program - basketball arena, swimming pool, fitness center and weight room, dance rooms, running track and tennis court - onto a cramped lot on Long Island University's downtown Brooklyn campus.
Completed in 2006, this facility includes an NCAA regulation basketball court on the second floor and a 25-yard, 8-lane pool on the ground floor. The fitness centers include a weight room, aerobic room and locker / shower areas. Track and tennis courts are located on the roof.I served as Technical Coordinator.
